This Privacy Policy explains what EnergyAgent (a product of Dyson Swarm Technologies LLC) collects, why, and how we protect it, across the Array Operator, NEPOOL Operator, and Solar Operator web applications and the EnergyAgent browser extension (the "Service"). It works together with our Terms of Service.
Account information. Your name and email (your email is your login), your plan and billing status, and basic usage/diagnostic logs needed to run and secure the Service.
Data from the portals you connect. When you sign in to one of your own supported portals and connect it, the extension reads, using the browser session you already hold for that site, and sends to your EnergyAgent account:
Information you enter. Details you add to operate your account, for example offtaker/customer names and contact details and array configuration, so the Service can prepare reports and invoices for you.
Optional auto-login credentials. Automated sign-in is optional and you choose how it works. With the browser extension, your portal username and password are encrypted and stored only on your own device (in the extension's local storage) and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. With Cloud Capture (opt-in), your portal username and password are sent over an encrypted connection and stored encrypted at rest on our servers, and are used solely to sign in to the portals you connected and keep their data fresh. You can turn Cloud Capture off or remove a stored login at any time, which deletes that credential from our servers.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
We share data only with service providers ("subprocessors") that help us run the Service, under contract and only as needed:

We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of our users or the Service. We do not otherwise share your data with third parties.
No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to fix issues promptly.
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can disconnect any account at any time, and you can request deletion of your data by emailing admin@solaroperator.org; we purge it within 24 hours of a verified request, except limited records we must keep to comply with law (e.g., billing records).
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR; we honor verified requests to exercise them and will not discriminate against you for doing so.
The Service is for businesses and adults; it is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notified by email.
